Hi there,

On Thursday I done an install at a customers house and I asked him who his energy supplier was and he mentioned OVO, I said you will get the 7p tariff but he said it is going up to 14p is this true?

I’ve also been told ohme is no longer going to be compatible with charger anytime, is this true and what if you have a existing ohme charger?

From 15 July Ohme chargers will no longer be compatible with Charge Anytime. We’ve recently updated the technology behind Charge Anytime. This is so we can keep making improvements and create new products that reward customers for driving EVs.

It's not been possible to integrate Ohme with this new technology. If you have an Ohme charger you’ll still be able to sign up to Charge Anytime by connecting with an eligible vehicle. We’re constantly looking to open up the eligibility to more EV models so if you don’t see your EV here, keep an eye on our page.

You can see all eligibility details in our Charge Anytime page here.

Hey @ScottRux5,

I’ve left an article below that links to a recent change to our T&C’s but confirms that the charging rate is 7p.

I haven’t heard anywhere that Ohme will lose compatibility. We’ve actually been launching more chargers with Andersen and Hypervolt joining our lineup. I hope this helps!

I don't see how this can be acceptable for those, like myself, are in the middle of a fixed deal and are now facing higher charging costs whether I stay or go. OVO told me Ohme was compatible, fixed me in for 12 months, when I could've gone elsewhere to another energy company. My options are to pay higher now, or move elsewhere and pay a 30% higher standard rate for my general energy usage. We should definitely be compensated for this.

If your vehicle is compatible, you can simply migrate to using that via the Charge Anytime app.

Otherwise, you can call 0330 175 9678 to discuss your options - this option is ONLY for those who cannot use the Charge Anytime app because they don’t have a compatible vehicle. If you have a Volvo, that same number will get you migrated over to the Volvo app and paired with CA that way.

Hey @Ntreekl1999

I’m really sorry you’re in this situation, one of our volunteers has left some really good advice from our Charge Anytime team.

If you’ve not done so already, please do reach out to the team directly for support with this, or follow the steps to sign up via a compatible vehicle.
