Can OVO tell us what email address the notifications will come from so we can flag them as urgent and see them promptly? A text would be better!

    Hey @Ria,

    Have you given email marketing consent?

    We’ll invite eligible customers this winter to sign up to Power Move Plus - keep an eye on your emails.

    To be eligible, you’ll need to have a smart meter, be a pay monthly or on demand customer and, opt in to half hourly meter reads and email marketing consent. You can update your meter read or marketing preference via your online account. Terms apply to Power Move Plus- see here for details. Please note that our Power Move Plus events are available to limited numbers of customers at the moment and are available on a first come, first served basis but we’re working to open the events up to more customers.

    Mine came from no-reply@ecomms.ovoenergy.com

    It might be worth taking a look in your emails for anything from the email address Simon got his.🙂

    Set up a rule for any email containing “Power Move Plus” in either the subject or main body of the email. It will probably catch a few more emails than you want, but at least you won’t be missing any.

    Hi @Emmanuelle_OVO

    I signed up following an ovo email,  I definitely got the accepted email, I am signed up for email & text marketing but certainly haven't been invited to a Power Move Plus event  - any suggestions as to what else I need to do to get included?

    Sounds like you’re all set up to me. Wait for the first event invite - you’ll know when you see it! :)

    @decroisic

    We havent had one yet.

    From November 2023 to the end of December 2023 the ESO there will be six tests and from January 2024 to the end of March 2024 the ESO a possible further six tests all lasting for one hour each.

    Live events are likely to last for a longer period if they are needed and could run up to four hours each. These are most likely to be held late afternoon/ early evening on weekdays when demand for electricity is highest.

    Tests and live events are most likely to take place across weekday evening peaks.

    Thanks for the reassurance that I have done all I need to @Blastoise186

    It does make me wonder though if I will get invited at any point. I see it says 1st come 1st served which makes me now question if there is a set number of invites & so if the 1st people invited all say yes , I may never get an invite :(

    The ESO National Grid does need to do a LOT of testing… There’ll be plenty of chances.
