Has anyone else had Charge Anytime ignoring the maximim charge and going to 100%?

I am not sure as l don’t have a car. lam doing power move flex. shifting electricity when the hour events happen. so can’t help sorry.

Sorry I can’t help with your question but reading posts on EVs is what makes me not want one. 
always seem to encounter issues around charging Iz it worth the cost for continue angst. 😤

My experience of Charge Anytime is the complete opposite.

Since having to demote my Ohme to a dumb charger some 6 weeks back, CA has failed to supply a full requested charge on all but 1 occasion, normally it hits 80 to 85% out of my 90 / 100% requested.

But with a couple of hrs to spare before heading out this morning,

CA still stuck on planning its next charge session, 

by chance, manually selecting “start charging” in my Bluelink app, charging did indeed commence with CA recording a smart charge on the savings tab,

although the dashboard tab initially stated it was still planning it’s next session while it was happily charging.

Add in the initial cost of charging at full rate before CA decides to do anything.

CA failing to do a full charge.

CA failing to charge at all (only happened once).

CA not recording any kWh used.

Im not impressed with CA in the slightest.

The vast majority of people who use smart charging don't have any issues with it. As is normal with forums people don't come on here to say their charging worked ok last night. If you don't want an EV then you don't have to scout around for a reason not to get one. If you were born before about 1965 then you would probably not even have the need to buy one. There will be plenty of fossil fuelled cars to go around for those who want to continue driving them.

For those who do have an EV, and I've had one for four years now, they will know that the are far quieter, smoother and cheaper to run than one with an internal combustion engine. I refuel my car at home nearly 100% of the time, has 5% tax and is 85% efficient. An ICE has 50% tax and is 30% efficient. This is why EV drivers spend a bit of time trying to resolve issues and we are here to try and help them do that. We manage to sort most issues but sometimes customers find a better solution elsewhere. It happens sometimes. 😃

Thanks.  Unfortunately my car/the Renault app doesn’t let me set the max so I’m reliant on Charge Anytime checking the charge level. Until now it’s not been an issue. There was a software update to my car recently so that might be related though I don’t see why.

I’ve got an open case with them.  Just trying to see if I’m the only Renault user with the issue as it might narrow down the cause.

I’m glad to hear the team are looking into it, if possible we’d appreciate if you popped bback with an update once this has been resolved as your advice could help other community members with a similar issue.

The Charge Anytime team said it was an issue with Renault’s infrastructure not working properly with third parties   As of yesterday it seems to be sorted.
