Has anyone else had Charge Anytime ignoring the maximim charge and going to 100%?

Since returning from a short break on 19 July every time I have set my car to charge it has charged to 100% no matter what the max was set to in the app.  While this is not a big issue, I normally charge to 80% and feel the system should do what it is meant to do.  Has anyone else experienced similar?  Might it be to do with Power Move Flex for Charge Anytime using up excess energy?

OVO’s Charge Anytime FAQs states the following: “If you want to limit the maximum charge of your EV, we recommend setting this in your EV’s app. The charger can’t override any maximum charge you set. Once your EV stops accepting charge, the app assumes the battery is full and stops charging.”

I hope more knowledgeable people will be able to say more soon.

Or Renault's servers having gone offline which they do from time to time and take a while to come back.

Reducing my yearly fossil fuel usage with an EV (-900 litres petrol), A2AHP (-8,700 kWh gas) and Timed Immersion heater (-1,500 kWh gas)

I’ve seen that before but this time the servers were there, just not interacting correctly with Kaluza.

The Charge Anytime team said it was an issue with Renault’s infrastructure not working properly with third parties   As of yesterday it seems to be sorted.

Cheers

However last night it went to 100% again

Ah that’s a shame - have you tried contacting Renault about it? (https://www.renault.co.uk/contact.html).

Thanks.  Unfortunately my car/the Renault app doesn’t let me set the max so I’m reliant on Charge Anytime checking the charge level. Until now it’s not been an issue. There was a software update to my car recently so that might be related though I don’t see why.

Hi @wkeithg

I’m not sure if you’ve seen the  feature request to be able to add a specified amount of charge at:

If not, maybe you could upvote it as well to help it get incorporated?
