Charge Anytime and Ohme connection issue update: important information for our customers

We're aware of a connection issue affecting Ohme customers between 27 May and 2 June. This means that any charging that took place during these dates wont be visible in your savings insights page in the Ohme app. Credit owed for smart charging between 27 May and 30 May also won’t be included in Charge Anytime credit you received at the start of June.

The issue is now resolved. Any missing credit owed for May and June will be added to your account as a separate Charge Anytime credit by 13 June. You don’t need to do anything and the credit will be applied automatically to your account. It’ll show on your next bill as ‘Charge Anytime Credit Adjustment’.

“Savings insights” have also been updated with the missing data in the Ohme app over the period the issue occurred. If you toggle back to May insights the savings will now be updated.

Ah yeah, I can suggest a fix for that. If you delete and rebuild your Ohme account (make sure to re-link the new account to the Charger!), it’ll get rid of the current tariff settings and you can then set the tariff manually. That should also resolve some of your other issues. It’s possible there’s a clash going on by both systems trying to control charging at once - rebuilding the Ohme account should fix that.

If you find yourself getting badly stuck, let the Charge Anytime team know via 0330 175 9678 and they’ll dig the logs.
