Hi can anyone identify what kind of meter is this?
Ovo on the phone is insisting that it's a RTS meter... But they don't seem to know any details... They seem to want to change every meter to a smart meter.
I asked my landlord earlier in the year and they think this is not a RTS meter and thus should not be affected.
It would be much appreciated if someone who actually recognizes this thing can give me some clarity.

Some meters have a Radio Teleswitch inside them. Yours isn’t one of them. Many RTS systems use an ordinary meter - like yours - with a radio switch separate from it, not necessarily in the same room. So your single photo isn’t enough to prove one way or the other whether your installation is RTS -controlled or not. If you’re certain that there’s no other black box with a label including Radio on it, perhaps near the consumer unit (‘fuse box’), then you don’t have an RTS system.
That meter has only another couple of years’ life left, so if you’re offered a smart meter in exchange for it, you might just as well go for it now.

The RTS determines when there is power to heating equipment, and makes sure that it’s recorded as offpeak usage. It’s not just the switching bit, turning heaters on and off when the DNO says so, but also the recording bit. That involves the RTS unit sending a signal to the meter to start or stop recording offpeak on the ‘low’ register. There’s no sign of the cable that would carry this signal to your meter, so we can safely say that this is not an RTS-controlled system (I take it you checked the consumer unit and anything near it).
