Heating won’t go off after smart meter install

we have gas central heating controlled by standard thermostats with heating timers. since our smart meters were installed on friday our heating will not go off, its ignoring the timers and thermostats, its costing a fortune. any help gratefully received.

Yes sorry I did, I asked our boiler engineer to come out and he knew what it was immediately, the control for the valve for the upstairs heating had got stuck open. It needed replaced, a common fault and purely coincidental it had failed exactly when the meters were installed. Thanks for all attempts to help.
