thats great….yes, absolutely: access to all meters, kettle will be on, and I’ll save a parking spot 😃. Is it possible that the attending team can work with multiphase or single then no problems ?

A1 and A2 share basement meter cupboard. Your comms check on A2 means -thanks- not only that A1 should work, but six feet above these, B1 and B2 meters.

So, do we need to change B1 back to E7 tariff so they could install a preconfigured E7 meter ?

And, can you change the Octopus meter if the account holder/building owner are present to sign anything needed (me) ?

thanks

@Dailydb We cant change the Octopus meter unfortunately =[

Lexii is going to be giving you a call to book you in for both account numbers provided to me which dont have smart, we will also ensure a polyphase job is booked in for ‘B1’.

B1 - whatever tariff is on your account is what the meter will commission to, you can change tariff post install =]

OK, please allow for the possibility the installer who looked at A1 was correct, and it is polyphase.

  1. Any installer who comes can work on polyphase or not. Simple ?

Neither of the two installers for B1 have mentioned polyphase, only bad reception, and not being able to install a preconfigured E7 meter because of E10 tarrif.

  1. can you insist that if they are unsure yet again, they simply just fit one ?

Can Lexii email me on A1 account details for booking …..thanks !

@Dailydb your basement meter has signal and is in comms so should have no issue with the others connecting to the WAN. Also, we now have e10 preprogrammed meters so can install that =]

Weve got a certain job type which is polyphase which means only certain people with that skillwill be assigned it =]

Lexii just phoned, and agreed to book A1 as polyphase just in case, and I’ve printed your comms check post for the B1 3rd appointment installer she should arrange, so a great result…..thanks so much everyone for all the help @Blastoise186  @Lukepeniket_OVO. !!!

No worries - it just shows you how overpowered we are here! :D

OVO can only swap meters for folks who are currently supplied by OVO. If you wanted OVO to try and sort out the Octopus managed one, you’d need to switch over first. Only then can OVO touch it. Industry rules I’m afraid!

https://switch.ovoenergy.com is the link you’re after. Just so ya know, using this one will give me £0 in kickback and you won’t score you a gift card either - but it should do the job of switching the supply if desired. If there’s an active tenant, please allow them to make the switch instead as it’d require their consent.

Hey @Dailydb

I’m glad to see you were able to get a lot of help on this and now have an appointment booked. Keep us updated with how that goes.
