Hello BPLightlog
Thanks for your help.

The electricity meter is a KAIFA MA120.

Phil.

That’s useful - Kaifa are quite ‘free’ with their symbols. When you see a -A indication, the meter is showing your export reading. There are a few threads on the forum which discuss this. Here’s a clip from one

Possibly @boleskine , what is your meter type?

Hi BPLightlog

The Solar panels are PV with no battery storage.

Hi BPLightlog

The Solar panels are PV with no battery storage.

Ok but you mentioned the meter reading … which meter type is it?

-A can often indicate reverse current (ie exporting energy) but different meters can show this differently.

@boleskine welcome to the OVO Forum community 👋. I hope you had a nice weekend.

I’m glad to see that @BPLightlog was able to answer your question. Just to let you know @boleskine I’ve added the solar panels badge to your Forum account so that other members will recognise the kit you have installed. For more info on solar and smart meters we’d recommend having a look in our Forum library section here. And, of course, fire any questions to the community if you can’t find the answer you’re looking for in any of our existing material.

      Cheers!
