I have just received an email regarding my new fixed rate tariff which is due to start in August when the present fix ends. The link in the email does not take me to the new tariff details just to my present plan.

This is not very helpful!

Morning @Bendog, I hope you’re doing well.

Sorry about this - that’s really strange. Can I just confirm that this button is in the renewal confirmation email? Can I also confirm that you’ve renewed recently?

I’ll find the correct person to report this one to internally - thanks very much for flagging.

Yes, this is on the confirmation email. I renewed about a week ago, I think. The email arrived yesterday.

@Bendog Sorry for the delay with this one. I’m waiting to hear back internally about this. Does the link take you to the ‘Plan’ page of your online account?

Hi again @Bendog,

I’ve heard back from our Renewals team that the link will only take you to your current plan details, and won’t show your future plan details.

The Renewals team agree that this is confusing, and are going to look to update this in future. Thanks again for flagging this, much appreciated.

Many thanks, but it does make the email rather pointless. Surely, it would be simple to just send an email containing the information?
