Im not sure how to do recharge or pay my bills as i just moved out of a house where i was charged rent and all bills to landlords.

    Welcome @Timo !

    First thing I’d do is head over to https://switch.ovoenergy.com to get set up if you haven’t already. That will activate your OVO Account if the property is Pay Monthly, or invite you to contact OVO if it’s Pay As You Go.

    Second thing I’m thinking is that you had a lightbulb blow which tripped the circuits - did you check the consumer unit by any chance?

    I’d agree, if you have one socket that is working then you obviously have an electricity supply.

    If the downstairs lights are off then it sounds like that lighting circuit has tripped out; so check the consumer unit for tripped circuit breakers.

    I said, Hey - Watts going on.

    @Timo

    Can you confirm the staus of you lights and power and do you know where your meter and consumer units are?

    Hey @Timo

    I’m glad to see a few of our community members have already stopped by with some helpful advice here.

    It’s unlikely to be anything to do with your supplier, and sounds more like an issue past the meter.

    If you’ve not done so already, setting up the online account will also be a good idea as mentioned by Blastoise186 so you can keep track of your energy account.

    Do let us know how you get on.
