Is 03330341574 a genuine OVO phone number or scam?

Hello, 

I keep getting phone calls from the number 03330341574 which does not recognise as anything. The first two times they phoned I did not answer, but looked the number up online and read that people had found it was a scam number pretending to be OVO collections. Googling OVO collections also gives a different contact. They didn't email me like they usually would after missing a call so I did think it was a scam. I also asked the live chat about the number and they said OVO hadn't attempted to contact me. The third time I phoned back and it was an automated voice saying it was OVO collections and asking me to move to WhatsApp..?

Does anyone know if this number is a genuine OVO contact? I don't want to be avoiding them if it is. Thanks!

I’m not sure I recognise that one myself, but I do know a way to check. Could you hang in there for a bit and I’ll ask ​@Chris_OVO to swing by.

In the meantime, feel free to call 0330 303 5063/0330 175 9669 for PAYM/PAYG Support or 0800 069 9831 for OVO Collections - they can assist you with whatever that call was about if it was legitimate.

​@Blastoise186 has already kindly listed the contact numbers should you wish to give the team a call and ask them to just go over your account and give your peace of mind. I’ll come back and update once I know for sure.
