Hi @Dougy ,

Sounds like it’s not been set up properly yet - the XJoin Command usually fixes that. Please ask OVO Support to run it for you.

An ‘Xjoin’ is a remote request that we can send to your In Home Display to get it showing your usage data. If your IHD is showing an error code, or is not showing your usage, please contact our Support Team. They’ll try to run an Xjoin to fix the IHD remotely. If they can’t fix the IHD they may refer the issue to our Smart Metering specialists, or send you a new IHD.

You can find lots of helpful IHD information and articles in our Forum Library section here.

Hey @Dougy

Sorry to hear this, though I’m glad to see Blastoise186 has already stopped by with some helpful advice.

Please do reach out to the Support Team again and have them run the above. If this doesn’t work, please ask them to try

again after the 7th January, as this will be 6 weeks after the exchange to which it most definitely should be working correctly by then.

Do let us know how you get on.

Sorry, but it has to be done via OVO - there’s no local option for security reasons.

Maybe you’ve got too many IHDs registered? Check https://homebrew.n3rgy.com - if there’s already four listed and none of them are that Geo, you need to get rid of one. OVO can do that for you.

Hi @Dougy, I hope you’re well and enjoying the Christmas period.

Our Support Team will need to try and fix this for you, and they may need to escalate it to our Smart Metering team. If it can’t be fixed remotely don’t worry - we can send you a new IHD for free, which should arrive within around ten working days. Let us know how you get on when you next speak to them.

In the meantime, you can check your online / app ‘Usage’ pages, where you’ll find even more detailed breakdowns of your usage than you’ll see on an IHD. The downside of checking online is that you can see previous, but not live, usage. This guide will help you navigate the pages:
