Can't schedule charging? (Charge Anytime, Indra Smart Pro Gen 2 and Corsa Electric)

I’ve got started with Charge Anytime, Indra Smart Pro Gen 2 and Corsa Electric. When first plugged in, charging started. I was able to charge one more time. Now I can’t get it to start.
the interaction between The Vauxhall app, the Indra app, and OVO is very unclear.
when I try and set a charging schedule in Indra, I get ‘Failed to create schedule…’

When I  just plug the car in, I have white flashing lights on the charger. I did also have green flashing lights. As far as I am aware I have not set any other schedule or limits.

What I want to do is charge today, I can wait till OVO wants to start if necessary, but right now the process just seems to be stalled. I’ve disconnected and reconnected.

All and any advice gratefully accepted

thanks

Jeffrey

I think I see the problem.

You’re setting the schedule too close to the current time and/or unplugging and re-plugging too fast. Please try the following:

  1. Unplug the vehicle completely
  2. Set the CA app to something like 7pm tonight - it’s strongly recommended to give it a few hours allowance to play with!
  3. Wait 30 minutes for the system to reset
  4. Plug-in again

This usually unjams the issue you may have triggered

Download the OVO Charge app from the App Store or Google Play.

@JSTJST

I don't know if you are familiar with the SpeakEV forum.

https://www.speakev.com/forums/

It doesn't have a Vauxhall forum as such but there is no harm in looking for the answer on there or perhaps even joining the forum and asking the same question. I'm sure someone would have had the same query. I hope you find an answer and if you do then it would be great to know what it is.

A little niggling issue.

No problems with Indra until we moved to the app.  Since we moved to the app and Charge Anytime we seem to have issues.  When the car is plugged in, the Indra app has parts greyed out, and the CA app shows a “Connection Issue” and the car is not connected.  I’ve had experiences where it has been plugged in for days and no charge happened (Indra logo solid white, led lights flashing white).  I’ve found out now that if I unplug the car a minute later the Indra logo flashes white for 15 secs then goes back to solid white. I then plug it in and then it will charge.

Something seems to be wrong since everything was working fine with the web app.  Anyone else experiencing this? Any help would be appreciated

Hi @stevo_A ,

Possibly an Indra issue rn, but I’d suggest checking with the Charge Anytime team first on 0330 175 9678.

Afternoon @stevo_A and welcome to the OVO Forum!

If you check your profile you’ll see I’ve added your EV badge. I’m sorry to hear of the issues you‘ve been experiencing. Have you managed to contact the Charge Anytime team yet as per @Blastoise186’s advice? To let you know, they can also be reached via email at ovocharge@ovo.com.

If you could let us know what the team tell you that’d be really helpful. Cheers!

Thanks Peter E & Blastoise. That’s helpful.

I don’t think I can set a charging limit with my car (Corsa-e), unless anyone has any ideas?

Hi @JSTJST

I’m not sure if you’ve seen (and upvoted) the  feature request to be able to add a specified amount of charge at:

If not, maybe you could upvote it as well to help it get incorporated? (the OP had a e208  - same Stellantis platform as the Corsa-e)
