How can I take a dual-rate reading on my Secure Liberty 112 smart meter?

When using Secure Liberty 112, what does E1 mean?

And,  when pressing button 6, how do I stop the meter scrolling too fast through lots of info?

I’ve had a thorough read of the manual for you, @Tim0548, safe to say it’s quite complicated but I’ll do my best to summarise!

In order to take your day and night readings, you’ll need to press the ‘9’ button. The first display will show ‘1 DAY’ pressing ‘9’ again will show your day time reading. Press ‘9’ again, the next screen will show ‘2 NGT’, press ‘9’ which will then show your night reading.

The rest of the displays you will then see by pressing the ‘9’ button will relate to Export readings, only relevant if you’ve got solar panels installed.

I hope this helps you get to grips with things.

Hi all

I have a Secure Liberty 100 smart meter but can’t find the smart meter code - I’m trying to enter into USwitch

Thanks in advance

What kind of code is it asking for @Ryan Sackett ?

Smart meter code by itself doesn’t mean much. It’s extremely unlikely you’ll find one on the meter itself though.

Actually, if you’re after the kind of data I think you’re interested in, us forum volunteers tend to recommend either Hildebrand Bright, Hugo or Loop instead of USwitch Utrack. They’re much, much more independent and less interested in trying to make a quick buck. They’ll also do pretty much everything Utrack claims to do, but with a much better track record and - most importantly - we’ve tested them out for ourselves and know they work.

It’s also important to note you cannot just compare your home against your neighbours either - you’re totally different so the results are pretty much useless. As a result, that kinda renders another of Utrack’s USP’s as moot.

Thanks so much for the advice. I’ll give Loop a try 👍
