Hey @mwalim

The team who were working on this have begun to reach out to customers who have been impacted by this.

You should receive a letter or email in the coming weeks instructing you of the next steps.

Hi Abby and Tim,

I repaid the overpayment this morning as per instructions in email. I hope I'll get an acknowledgement - thought this would be automatic🤔.

Hey @mwalim

Glad to hear you’ve paid that back already - this will save the team trying to chase you for the payment a few weeks down the line from now.

Let me check with the team in charge if there will be any acknowledgment of the payment, and I’ll get back to you to be sure on this.

Hi Abby,

Still not received,an acknowledgement that I have repaid your overpayment. This is a disgrace, I should have received a receipt. Please ask accounts dept to send me one.

Thank you

Hi @mwalim if you have a record via your bank or otherwise that should suffice, although I understand you might like a response

That's not what worries me. OVO says they will reclaim money from bank accounts if not repaid. As they are so slow to respond and rather error prone they may claim the money back from my bank, leaving me overdrawn, before they realise their mistake.

Hey @mwalim,

We got an update from the team, they are going to ensure manual payers like yourself do get a payment confirmation. They are currently working on this. Once it is sorted, we’ll update this topic.

If you followed the instructions in the email, the payment will have been received.

I received my quarterly fit statement on the 17/8/23

it showed a payment of £271 and then an amendment of -£261 leaving me a balance of £10 to be paid into my account. Has anyone else had this and do they know what it’s for?.

I sent the fits team an email asking about it on the 18/8/23 but have yet to get a reply.

Hey @Moodygaz,

I’ll see if I can find out anything about this internally. Have you tried calling the FiT phone line?

You can speak to our FiT Team by calling 0330 303 5063 and selecting ‘4’ when the IVR instructs you to do so.

Hi Emamuelle,  It's now 6 months since I refunded your overpayment but still no acknowledgement. How rude. Pathetic OVO.

Hi @Moodygaz did you find out anything about this?

Hi Jeffus

yes OVO finally got back to me to say they had given me an extra payment in June so we’re taking it back, I checked my bank statement and it was true. They could have mentioned that in the FIT statement and it would have been clear!
cheers
