Although prices are coming down in October I'm very happy that OVO has decided to not increase the Standing Charge for the next 3 months. 😀

Where did you learn this? I haven’t yet seen any published rates from OVO for October-December.

Ofgem have announced a small increase in the standing charge for Direct Debit customers, the average rising from 50.4 to 50.8 p/day. As far as I’m aware, it remains to be seen whether OVO will apply this increase or not. See the EPC rates here: Regional rates and standing charges, October to December 2023 - GOV.UK

OK, thanks - I missed that. OVO’s generosity is touching: a rebate of 0.4p/day is equivalent to an average discount of 37p during the quarter (unless you happen to be in London, where the discount is only 28p). Don’t spend it all at once.
