Power Move Flex Start Date

I’m looking for clarification of the start date of the Power Move Flex for Charge Anytime EV users. My introductory email says that the start date is 16th September (Monday) but time period is noon to noon and qualifying weeks run Sunday to Sunday so did it actually start at noon on Sunday 15th?

“We count your sessions from noon to noon every day and calculate rewards weekly, from Sunday to Sunday.”

Over the 18 months, Power Move Flex (as part of CrowdFlex) has shifted 864,700 kWh's and paid out over £1.02 million in bill credits.

We've had over 100,000 customers take part over the 3 trials in which Power Move Flex helped match the demand to the power being generated. So homed used cleaner, greener energy.

The trials were aimed at understanding how households can contribute to a greener electricity grid. The learnings we gathered from being part of these trials will be essential for the Electricity System Operator to plan for the future of the electricity grid, and how our customers can play a role in this. Together we've been making energy better for people and the planet.

Our current trials are now closed, and we'd like to thank our users for their participation.

Hi @wkeithg,

I’ve checked this with the team and they’ve responded:

"Power Move Flex for Charge Anytime started on the 16th of September, sessions are counted noon to noon and Sunday to Sunday, meaning the first session counter started from noon on the 15th, so people didn't miss out on the first day of sessions. Power Move are our quarterly challenges to shift energy out of set peak times and the reward calculations run from the 1st of each month to the end of that month. You can take part in either, or both, depending on eligibility.”

Hope this helps.

Thank you @wkeithg. That probably explains it. I was advised to use the Kaluza app. which is probably not compatible. Oh well, I’ll try next year.

Are you on Charge Anytime?   It makes my plug in hybrid car v cheap to run and the extra £3 a week means I will get about 110 miles a week effectively for free.

Maybe you could see if you get the offer on the ChargeAnytime app but keep using the Kaluza one.

Hey @Taj

If you can tell us what model of EV you have and what charger you use then we can check your compatibility with Charge Anytime.

Alternatively you can also check your compatibility by filling out this form

Thanks to @wkeithg for sharing how this benefits you 🙂.

I hope this helps.

Hello @Chris_OVO, @wkeithg  thank you for replying. I already have charge anytime, Indra pro and bZ4X. I had been unaware of the Powermove Flex and thought it was now available. As it’s still in testing I’ll just have to wait.
