No gas after my boiler was replaced, the meter was broken by the engineer what should I do?

I change a new boiler today and the engineer dismantles the gas meter during installation. However after install the new boiler and put back the gas meter, they found that no gas go to the boiler . How can I do?

If the engineer who installed the boiler touched the gas meter, that’s a big no-no.
