Thanks for flagging this. 

 

It might be that a debt has been loaded onto your meter with a daily repayment rate. Or a standing charge / emergency credit debt that needed clearing after a top up. When did you last top up? Do you have a smart meter?

 

Whatever the reason if it’s taking your credit incorrectly this will get sorted. Perhaps our Support team are best placed to help.

My meter is prepaid so there is no debt it has been topped up weekly and had over 500 pound in there and has done so for over a month

Prepay meters (pay as you go meters), even while in credit, can have a debt on the account/meter for a wide number of reasons, with varied repayment rates. We don’t have access to your account here at the Forum, so it’ll be best to get in touch with the Pay as you Go Support Team to discuss this and they’ll be able to see what the issue may be.
