Hey @costeek

I did hear back from the Beyond team who said you can tick the box and proceed anyway, we'll pay you the capped amount each time you opt in (up to 10kWh).

Let us know if you have any problems signing up, or down the line with this as they’ve also mentioned that if there appears to be a problem with the cap amount being paid out here, they’ll make sure it’s added on for you if you have any issues.

I hope this helps.

Hi @Vic Green ,

Unfortunately, the OVO Beyond offers - including the Help with Heating one - are only available via the OVO Energy mobile app. If you don’t have access to a smartphone or tablet, then I’m afraid you can’t take part in the promotion.

Sorry about that.

Do I understand correctly, that it is also only available to those who has gas smart meter.

You CAN get it on Electricity-Only accounts. You just get the credit without the slots

I mean, I have a regular gas meter. My electricity one is smart. Can I still receive the free hours in these settings?

This question probably is more for one of the moderators. How I can sign for it? When I tried doing so, it asked me to agree for my gas smart meter to send readings every 30 minutes. Should I agree for that even my gas meter isn’t the smart one? In the past I requested for it to be changed for the smart one, but at that time it wasn’t technically possible, as it couldn’t communicate with me electricity meter (too many walls between). Since then I didn’t have much time to get back to it.

Please bear with us - we’re discussing this at the moment.

Hey @costeek

I’ve asked the Beyond team about this just to see how this might work for you with your meter set up, I’ll pop back here with any further information when I have more for you.

Out of curiosity, have you tried ticking the consent box and continuing yet?
