Is it more costly to have electricity supplied by OVO and gas by another company?

Hi @Jim G ,

There’s no Dual-Fuel Discount with OVO (nor anyone else these days) - the prices are the same regardless of how you configure your account.

OVO can supply electric-only or electric and gas, but not gas-only. You can switch to OVO here.

@Jim G happy new year, and a warm welcome to the OVO Forum.

Thanks for your post - I can see @Blastoise186 has come through with correct information for you. Just to confirm, we can take over just your electricity, or your electricity and gas, but we can’t take over gas-only.

If you’d like to get a quote to switch over to OVO, you can do this online here: https://www.ovoenergy.com/. This guide will give you further information on how to switch, and what to expect once the switch to OVO is initiated:

I'd steer clear of OVO. I'm in the process of changing suppliers. Put my dd up by  £117! Can't talk to no one. Constantly on hold then cut off. No one available on online chats. Been a loyal customer for years. Not no more.

Hi @MizzBizz ,

It’s actually the first week of January right now - every supplier under the sun is being jammed up with calls that backed up during Christmas on top of the usual Monday rush.

You won’t escape that by moving away - it happens across the entire market every single year.
