Had a smart meter fitted Monday put my water heater on 1 to 4pm and no hot water

Not to pre-empt your contact with support, it would really help if you could post a clear photo of your meter and all the other stuff around it so we know what we’re dealing with. We have to be able to read the display on the meter, and see what cables are coming to and from it.

It would also be good to know which region you’re in, because the E10 timings vary from place to place. This map should help you find out:

Blastoise has given the standard solution to problems like this, but we don’t really know how your system is set up: E10 meters are quite a novelty, so our experience is limited 🙁

Emailed ovo it is economy 7 now and is midnight till 7am for off peak. There's no daytime off peak hours anymore.  Thanks for the replies everyone

Hi @Angef ,

OVO can usually fix this with SMETS Commands. Please ask them to send the one for reconfiguring ECAUL/ALCS configs and it should do the trick.

Thanks emmanuelle I left the boiler on overnight and I've got hot water.  The smart meter must be set at midnight to 6am for off peak.

Hi thanks. I am Bradford Yorkshire and yes I've seen a few different charts with different times.  I always used 1pm to 4pm on old meter so that has changed with a new smart meter.  It heated the water overnight but didn't want to leave it switched on so much.  It's all new ill get used to it
