We had new smart meters installed on Tuesday and a IHD3 box  and  yesterday a small envelope icon and display showing new message appeared. Does anyone know how to display message ... Tried tapping the icon but nothing happens.

Hi @marden18 , if you go into the menu (ok button) you should be able to select messages from there. Move through the options with the arrow keys

There's a user guide here and the manufacturers video can be seen here

Thanks for quick response to my query. Think I must have faulty boys as tapping away on ok and nothing happens.

Hi,

Further to my issue with meter readings not sending, new meters were fitted and a new display screen.

The readings now look to be registering, but not on the app which is still asking for readings.

I went on to the chat this morning and was told it can take weeks (!) for this to activate!

However, on the display screen (IHD3), it is saying New Message and I can find no way of opening this?

Thanks!

Hi @Technophobe ,

It can take up to six weeks for newly installed meters to be fully commissioned and activated. It may be worth checking the meter reading history on both the app and web - do any of these say Smart next to them following the Meter Exchange?

As for the Message? Head into the menus - it should be there somewhere.

Is the menu the row of dots with OK at the bottom? I can't get it to scroll?

Ah, thanks, yes. The manual left with me makes no reference to this.
