Who's actually won a Power Move prize recently?

Hi @Pot ,

The answer to that is yes - every prize must be won every month without fail. However, it’s a random draw managed by a computer and by the very nature of random draws, there’s no control over who gets picked.

I've won £2 every month

We can only certainly know if the person who won it would decide to share that information publicly. I doubt someone would agree to do that. Until then, we only know the information that Blastoise186 shared.

Hi @Pot and welcome to the OVO Forum!

I’ve double-checked with the power Move team, who’ve confirmed every single prize has been paid out each month since February.

As @Blastoise186 says, it’s completely random. Even the team don’t know who’s won until it goes through to be paid out to the winners. We’ve recently increased the top prize to 10 individual winners each month.

Me personally, I’ve just won £2 a few times over the last few months. It’s all working as it should be, but a prize isn’t always guaranteed.

don’t think l have won. well don’t have the app so can’t check. but l am not to worried anyway other things to think about.

If you don’t have the app at all, you can’t sign up to Power Move and therefore can’t play the game. You need to use it at least once to enable Power Move features.

After that, whether you check the app or not, any prizes you win WILL be delivered anyway. You can see them in MyOVO after they land.

Thanks for confirming @Blastoise186 😁.

@JNeve if you’d like to download the app you can do so here. I’d recommend it, it works really well on a phone screen. You just log in with the same email address and password as you would the online account.

Here’s a series of guides that will help you navigate once you’re logged in:

I normally manage 15 entries every month, as I have a battery and charge an EV overnight, but I still actively try to avoid using much power during the peak period.

Since the new draw based rewards started, I’ve received £2 every month except for one £50 and one £0.

Thanks for letting us know @Ian in Somerset that’s good going!

I get about 7-9 entries each month and have won £2 a handful of times.
