Beyond - Two free hours electricity per Week

Just to note that the Beyond Free Hours promotion is no longer showing in the app.
(As you might expect because officially it ended on 31st August).

If you had been able to sign up for the 2 mysterious Septemeber hours I hope you made a note of which 2 you chose.

I can confirm an issue was identified by the team and subsequently fixed, if anyone has been able to sign up to free hours for September, they'll be honoured. Please let me know if you have any further issues 😊

Anyone had their payment credit for Augusts 2 hours free electricity yet? It shows as Beyond - Free Electricity on the account charges breakdown. Seems late this month- cheers

Mine wasn’t there yesterday, however it has just shown up today on my current billing period.

I believe the reason that it was a bit late this month, is that they had been waiting to include the extra 2-hours for September, if you had managed to sign up for them,

That £1.52  include the ‘extra’ 2-hours in September that I had managed to sign up for.

If it does then that would explain why it was a bit late this month, they had been waiting to include those two September hours.

Thanks for the reply- mine also arrived shortly after my message- and yes it must include the extra 2 days in September…. Must be why it was a bit late as the final September date was Sun 7th … every little helps these days. 

I’ve confirmed now that it does include those two September hours.

In my case it even takes account of the fact that my tariff changed on 28th August, so the last 3-days were at my new tariff.

The trick to this is moving things like washing, ironing charging and other weekly electricity use to this 2 hour slot. These are things you would use electricity for at some time, moving them means you get the credit on your next months bill. Why do it at another time when you can get necessary usage for free. About to get my 2 hours this week, washing machine prepped, chargers all in, just need to flick the switches at 10am. Shower just before 11 so I can use hairdryer and straightners in the second hour, then do the hoovering

Are some people still getting the two hours free electricity? 

Not at the moment for most customers IIRC - that offer is currently turned off for the most part. But it’s possible a few folks might be getting it for one reason or another.
