2 hours free electricity/gas - Cant find it in tbe app?

Hi,

I have just read about the 2 hrs free energy Beyond members should be able to utilise within the app. However, I cannot for the life of me find it in my app. I've looked everywhere, read posts on here regarding where to find it but I can't see it anywhere in my app.

 

We've been Beyond members since 2024 and are signed up to the solar panels offer and we have Charge Anytime for our EV. But within the ‘Rewards’ section of the app, there's no mention of this 2 hours free energy thing? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but that didn't help.

 

Having read through a number of posts here on these forums, it appears that confusingly some people get two hours of free gas and some get two hours of free electricity! 
 

Any advice appreciated.

These rewards are usually strictly time-limited. Any official notification of a reward scheme (i.e. from OVO, not from some random blog or forum post) will normally include a link to the terms and conditions that apply to the scheme, and these will include its precise duration.

You’ve missed out on the latest that I know about: 2 hours free electricity each week, ending on 2 August.  Beyond’s AI helper produced this:

    The latest was for free electricity, the one prior to that was for gas. There were earlier ones too, you've missed several since 2024. They come in rounds of about 8 - 10 weeks. Keep checking the app regularly so as not to miss any future ones if Ovo decide to do more, no guarantee they will though. There is also the ongoing Power Move prize draw and occasional competitions to watch out for. Current and new are always posted in the Rewards section of the App.

      The sign up for the two hours free is closed for now. Make sure you’ve got notifications switched on in the app, and then you’ll receive one when the offer is next available. You’ll then be able to sign up via the ‘Rewards’ section.

        As everyone has said, it is over now. This time it was about the electricity. I would suggest to regularly check Ovo app for any coming rewards. At the moment, it’s the only way to be informed about them.
