Topped up on my old key by mistake?

Hi, I have switched to a different supplier recently but foolishly topped up on your old key. I'm trying to find out how I go about getting a refund on the credit now on that key. I do have the receipt for that transaction and any advice on the correct way of  going about this would be greatly appreciated.

The best way will be to contact the PAYG support team.

You can webchat with them by clicking the green icon at the bottom-right of this page:

https://www.ovoenergy.com/help/article/how-do-i-get-in-contact

If you use webchat you should be able to send them a photo or a scan of the receipt.

Or telephone:  0330 175 9669

If you have Pay As You Go key / card meters, we’d highly recommend upgrading to smart meters, free of charge. This’ll mean that you can top up and check your balance via an app, so you won’t have to go to the shop to top up.
