Struggling to get a new top up card from a store - what can I do?

Does anyone know of any shops in/near the dy5 area of the west midlands that supply ovo gas cards? Before anyone suggest post office or morrisons shops with a post office in, these two places do not supply them. Both said ovo was meant to supply cards but never came

Just to let you know, I’ve moved your post into the Pay As You Go area of the Forum. Here’s some stockists you can try:

Before going to these stores please get in contact with our Support Team who’ll ensure that the correct information is sent to a store of your choice. As ​@Blastoise186 has mentioned, if you’ve got a good amount of credit on the meter then our Support Team can actually post a card to you. When you speak to them, I’d recommend booking in for a smart meter installation. It’s free of charge, and means you’ll be able to top up via the OVO Top Up app, rather than having to top up at a paypoint. You can find more information here:

Hey ​@Joshnorris1993 ,

You should be able to get them at any PayPoint store. I’ll drop a link to the locator tool, which you can find at https://www.paypoint.com/ . Please get a TAG Code from OVO FIRST otherwise you won’t be able to pick up the card - once you have it, you can use it to get a new card after a 1 hour delay.

If you don’t need one urgently, OVO can post one out to you that’ll be pre-programmed - you just need to feed it into the meter to register it before your first top-up.

I should advise, however, that these cards are getting harder to find. You may want to consider Smart Meters to avoid this issue in the future.

    Just done some research of my own as well.

    I’ve spoken directly to the shopkeeper at High Acre Store - the one on 32 Madeley Road. He thinks he can help you as he believes he’s got the right gas cards in stock. He’ll be expecting you if you do decide to go - I told him that “a friend of mine” might be stopping by later.

    Please get OVO to send the TAG Code instruction there and you should be able to pick it up. Based on the postcode area you gave us, it’s not far away so should be fairly easy to get to.

    I’m still attempting to reach the others - I’ll let you know if they respond.
