My IHD says the standing charge for Gas is 298.93p per day?? This cannot be correct surely? We are on PAYG and my gas credit is disappearing fast!

Possible system fault.

Please flag this ASAP to have it corrected! You WILL qualify for a refund as part of the fix.

Hey @Ecom

I’m glad Blastoise186 has already stopped by here with some spot on advice to get in touch with the Support Team.

If you’ve not done so already, please do this so they can look to get that corrected, and correct the usage charges.

Please do let us know how you get on here.

24.16 /kWh is also ridiculous for GAS. (It’s more like an electricity rate).

And what’s with all those ‘00000000000’s.

Definitely something screwy with the IHD at least (and/or possibly the meter) so best to contact support to make sure it’s only the IHD and not your actual billing/PAYG payments that are being affrected.

Hey @Ecom

Did you manage to get this sorted in the end?

Hi, yes, this seems to be resolved now. I think it was a IHD issue (it is a pretty old SSE one) after removing the battery for a few hours and restarting it, the gas/electric display was flipped upside down and the values seem more accurate. The price update seems to have made the IHD go a bit haywire 🤣

Morning @Ecom,

That’s great news - the old ‘off and on’ again trick is always worth a shot 😂.

If you’re finding the IHD to be too dated you could try and ask our Support Team if they’ll send you another one that’s more up to date. I can’t guarantee that they would though as it’s not faulty anymore...
