Hey, can anyone assist me, I've tried to ask OVO but they havent been very helpful and im rather disappointed in them

I was recently contacted by Seeka wanting access to my property, unfortunately both myself and my partner were at work that day till late (both RN's for the NHS) the gentleman left a letter demanding I contact OVO to arrange a visit, this is difficult for us at times as we both work different hours and aren't usually at home during the day (im outpatients, shes ward/emergency care based). After contacting OVO and having a somewhat lost conversation with the advisor she put me on hold and attempted to arrange a day where they could visit, unfortunately it was a day im working so im having to take A/L for this.

Does anyoen know the reason why this company need access toy property? And why the OVO operator was so rude and wouldnt inform me why they have been sent round?

Seeka are a ‘Revenue Protection’ company, they usually get involved if there is a suspicion of possible fraud/theft of electricity.

Something odd must have shown up in your usage so they need to check your meter.

Hey @J12_

I’m sorry to hear about this, though glad to see Nukecad has already stopped by with some helpful advice on this, and a similarly related topic.

We don’t have access to accounts here at the Forum so can only make best guesses, I would recommend reaching out to the Support Team who should be able confirm any details of the visit.

I hope this helps, do let us know how you get on.

Thanks for the replies guys, im curious to know what they think is going on with my meter as Im on Pay as you go and have been topping up as usual.

I was informed by a OVO customer service agent that they will come to my property Monday 11th, and after taking the day as unpaid leave they didnt turn up despite me being in all day waiting. Im now waiting to hear what day there actually going to turn up.

This whole situation has pushed me to start to look for another supplier as im disappointed with how ive been treated throught this whole situation.
