My fixed rate plan changed randomly, what can I do?

I went for a 1 year fixed rate economy10 last August & all was working well until yesterday when Ovo suddenly without any notice or consultation changed me back to a variable plan & the different higher charges from August. What on earth is going on!

Hi @johndebs .

Sorry to be a pain, but unfortunately this sounds like an account specific issue of a type that we probably can’t help with via the Forum. I really wish I could, but it’d involve digging into your personal data - which is something OVO considers out of bounds for Forum Volunteers.

If you can get in touch with OVO Support, they can dig the logs to see what’s going on.

Apologies if this isn’t what you wanted to hear, but it’s the only thing I can think of unfortunately.

Thanks for understanding

Hey @johndebs

Sorry to hear about this, though I’m glad to see Blastoise186 has already stopped by with some helpful advice and that you’ve already sent the team an email.

Blastoise186 is spot on, unfortunately this isn’t something we can directly help with as we don’t have access to accounts here at the Forum but sounds like the Support Team should be able to resolve this fairly easily.

Do let us know how you get on.
