Question

First meter reading

Hi
I can't access my online account. I keep getting the message "We're working on a new website for you." I've already emailed customer support but haven't received a reply. I'm a new customer and need to confirm my opening meter reading and whether my smart meter is sending readings automatically. 
How can I open my account and submit my meter?

I had the same issue recently  and emailed customer support at my new supplier with my initial readings, I had photographed them so attached those photos.

They acknowledged receipt the next day.

It can take time for the new supplier to access your smart meter readings at DCC, but when they do they will get them back to your join date.

It's 7 weeks since I switched and although my new supplier can now get my gas readings they don't appear to have access to the electricity readings yet.

    Yes; I have used that one myself.

    Or you could phone them the reading, or  use webchat, or social media, see:

    Sorry to hear you’re unable to log in just now - it might be because the account is still being set up. Please can you try these steps:

     

    • Visit https://my.ovoenergy.com/login
    • Click ‘set up account’
    • Enter your email address when prompted
    • You’ll be sent an email containing a link to set a new password
    • Once you’ve set a new password you should have access to the online account
