Label the online account usage charts to make it clear if they are BST or GMT

I can see you’ve posted a question topic about this here:

Let’s wait and see if the online account usage charts do change with the clock change. If they do, the answer to this is that they are both BST and GMT. Although either way it would be good if this was made clear!

@Tim_OVO did we ever get closure on this? 

What have people seen over the last few days @Jeffus @Sukicat @Firedog? Safe to assume the information updates so that there is no change in the bar charts following the clocks changing? 

On 29th October daily usage chart there were 2 lots of 1.00/1.30 am so it looks like the charts have changed with the clocks. It would be nice if OVO could label the charts so it is clear. Normally not a big issue, but for those on The Power Move Challenge it does matter.

We’ve been through this before. 

The timings on the account site’s daily usage charts are local time, which is why there has to be an ugly shift twice a year. The fact that the site has been displaying a bizarre error just goes to show how silly this is. I’d recommend that those trying to meet a Power Move challenge stick exclusively to GMT, along with the entire energy industry. It’s a bit late now, of course, but perhaps worth remembering.

The website is populated from a database containing half-hourly usage data with associated GMT timings. The site then tries (and fails!) to convert these timings accurately to local time for the convenience of customers. Let’s hope they get it right before BST comes back on 31 March 2024.
