I’ve been on Charge Anytime for the past month and can see the current credit for this month, and a calculation showing the total units multiplied by 23p (the difference between the SVR of 33p and charging cost of 10p. Are there any plans for better/nicer reporting methods on this data? It’d be nice to see a graphical depiction similar to that on the Usage page, showing daily, monthly and annual charging usage and savings. That information must be available somewhere because you’re using it to calculate the savings.

Here it is, @FatOldSun!

Please vote on your idea now that I’ve converted it and we’ll gauge interest from other Charge Anytime customers!

Thanks @Tim_OVO . Unfortunately there are no stats at all right now as there appears to be a problem with the Charge Anytime section of the Your EV page. In fact, both the app and the website are offering me to sign up to Charge Anytime even though I’m already on it.

This issue is highlighted by the fact my fixed rate ended on 10th March, when I switched to variable, and therefore the difference between the normal rate and the Charge Anytime rate became much greater. For the first 10 days, the difference was 7.6p but since then it’s 23p. The calculation on my Your EV page is incorrect because it doesn’t show the split rates, only the current rate.

Charging credit so far this month £60.26 = (0.33 - 0.1) x 327.94

The calculation (0.33 - 0.1) x 327.94 comes to 75.43. I believe the charging credit of 60.26 is the correct value but without a breakdown of the figures, it’s impossible to tell.

Hi @FatOldSun,

I’m aware of an issue over the last few days with customers using Charge Anytime with an Indra smart charger (being fixed if not already fixed). Can you confirm if you have this charger?

Hi @Tim_OVO, yes I do and the Kaluza servers went down on Friday morning and were only partially restored by Monday evening, making it impossible to change the Indra settings. However, Indra did say that Charge Anytime would be unaffected by this. I’ve seen the credit amount increase for the charges I did during this period so I’m not sure that’s the cause, unless you know otherwise?

@Tim_OVO the key point is this:

  • OVO customers who are on Charge Anytime; Kaluza and OVO are working together to make sure that your charger is operating in troubleshooting mode. Charging in this mode will mean that you’re charged 10p/kWh and your credits won’t be affected

Therefore the charging would have been registered at 10p, as normal. The credits are definitely increasing whenever I charge, for example it’s now saying this:
£71.55 = (0.33 - 0.1) x 378.56

I still maintain that it’s due to the crossover this month from fixed rate to SVR.
