It would be useful to allow closed accounts to be removed from MyOVO on a self-service basis for situations where the account is clearly no longer required, such as when two accounts are on one profile and one of them is closed due to a moving-out process.

Might be worth also having an auto-purge option (say six months) for these if the customer wants it.

Twice I’ve asked Support to remove an unwanted and unused account from MyOVO. The last time, a few weeks ago, I was told a ticket had been raised and it would take 5-7 days for ‘the team’ to do the job. I’m still waiting ...

Sorry @Firedog, these tech tickets can often take some time - hopefully will be fixed soon.

My only comment would be to make sure that account removal was an intended action with a confirmation and perhaps a re-confirmation with appropriate text to make it clear what you are about to do. Perhaps also two factor authentication. You send a simple deletion code which has to be entered. Just thoughts if it's an irrevocable action.

@Blastoise186 I’ve heard back that this can’t be done yet due to security risks, and complications on our side. I’ll change your other idea to ‘can’t be done yet’ as well. Just to let you know, this is actually on the radar for the future :)
