Switching to fixed plan + boiler cover but I already have boiler cover

I want to switch from my current variable plan to a 1 year fixed loyalty plan + boiler cover. The problem is that I already have a boiler cover in place, so what will happen when I switch?  Will I end up paying for 2 plans or will the current boiler plan be automatically added?  There are only 2 options on the application form, which is “With Boiler Cover” or “Without Boiler Cover”.

I hope you found BPLightlog’s advice helpful.

 

I did also check with the team, they said; if its the one year fixed and boiler cover you don't need to set up a new policy, you’d just need to add your OVO ID to the current one. If for any reason you still decide you want to cancel and set up the policy again, then there would be a fee and normal exclusions.

I have been told that they do the 1 year fixed rate with boiler. Cover. I am all ready on that 1 year fixed rate with bolier cover  but runs soon and want to apply for it again. They contradicted them self and said as I have had the plan form 2023 and 2024 I can't take advantage of it. Has any else been told this. I have read terms and Conditions. Thanks.

This is what I’ve been advised:

 

I don't think they'd be able to take advantage of the same offer again if they already have an existing homeplan. They can look at cancelling and rejoining (canc fees may apply and exclusions applicable to new sales will apply) but may be best asking them to speak with our Retention Team. They can call on 0330 102 8905 - hold to be connected to OVO Home Services, Option 3 - Renewals / Cancellations.

Hi, thank you for your advice. I didn't get anywhere with come out of my plan and pay the last  of my the bolier cover. They suggested to go on the variable and then. Apply for the 1 year fixed rate + boiler Cover. To sure if to do that has might not get the year fixed rate with boiler cover. So on the fence. Thanks again for your help.
