Solis 5kw hybrid inverter paired with 16.1k fogstar battery not depleting it's charge

Hi, I have a solis 5kw hybrid inverter paired with 16.1k fogstar eco battery, but know the Inverter will not let the charge deplet from the battery. It worked fine until it reached 100 % at which point in just stays at 100%and draws power from the grid. Thanks for any help as this is driving me crazy.

Check your inverter for “minimum SOC” or “reserve battery” settings, it’s likely set to 100%, so it won’t discharge. Lower that (e.g. 10–20%) and it should start using the battery.

Hi vertesol, I have tried all the normal settings and no luck unfortunately.. 

I think it maybe a software update that is required so waiting for Solis to update the firmware on the inverter.

I've been tracking this issue for a little while and thought that it might have got fixed by now. I'm not familiar with solar or a home battery so my go to ploy when the answer seems intractable is the ask Chat and here is what it has said. My apologies for the length of the response but I don't know what is important or not so I've left it unedited and also for repeated advice given by others. Hi Peter.. 

I have also tried Chat to help me resolve the issue and have exhausted all the fixes apart from the firmware update.. Waiting on Solis to upgrade remotely for 3 days now and still nothing.

I will drop a message once Solis updates the inverter.
