Hello,
Is it possible to control the timing of DHW, not by controller timer option but by dry contact?
Does it have to do anything with 131 mode in function setting?
Is there a full list of the function settings menu?
Thank you very much!

Hi
I don’t have experience with 131 mode or dry contacts, I use the default timer in the control panel.
But from my quick research I think 131 mode can be used to define what happens when a dry contact closes, for example Trigger DHW. That being said 131 mode is usually for installers to test the system out.
I also don’t know if the third-party controller could do more than ON/OFF and the actual water temp would still be set in the ecodan control unit. My experience with third party thermostats is that the only function on ON/OFF.
You’d need to get in touch with an actual professional on this to give you the best answer. Here is a link to the installer’s guide for the ecodan (could only find the FTC5 one) - Ecodan FTC5 - PAC-IF062B-E, PAC-SIF051B-E Installation Manual & Instruction Book (BH79D499H03) - Document Library - Mitsubishi Electric
I will stress again to get a certified installer out if you are going to go down the route of putting in a third-party product.
Best of Luck!
