OVO generally waits until Ofgem completes ALL the number crunching and sends over the money before making a payout, which usually goes through shortly before your next reading is requested.

It’s ultimately a business decision OVO took a long time ago which Ofgem permits on the basis it helps to manage cashflow. It’s not something that can be changed for individual customers I’m afraid.
