Hi in the past month I was attacked with fraud on my bank account and just realised that my bill for the month is due out and since this has happened to me this month I'm struggling to be able to pay my bill as at that time I had to delete my direct debits for any further fraudulent behaviour happening as confirmed by the bank and was seeing if my services could be kept on until next bill due date I'm which I can pay double as I'm now still waiting for a new bank card to arrive. Does anyone know if I can do this?

In this situation, I’d recommend you call 0800 069 9831 and explain the situation. The collections team will be able to help.

For now, please make a bank transfer to pay the outstanding bill(s) if you can. I’d recommend you restore the Direct Debit ASAP though.

Account Name: OVO Energy Ltd Receipts

Account Number: 83683249

Sort Code: 20-00-00

Reference: Your OVO account number and postcode

If you can do that today, it’ll clear the outstanding balance.

Blastoise186, one of our volunteers, has already left some really helpful advice here. There are plenty of options so while very understandable as it’s obviously a tricky situation, our Support Team will be able to help you.

 

If you are cancelling the Direct Debit in the meantime, I’d recommend getting that set back up as soon as possible after you’ve got everything else sorted out, but you can change to paying on demand while you sort everything with the bank.
