What happens on installation day?
Here are the 6 basic steps to a standard installation. Your engineer will:
- Fix the charger to the wall where you want it
- Run the cable from the charger to your electricity meter and clip it neatly to the wall
- Tidy up any mess they’ve made
- Test and commission your charger
- Show you how the charger works and pair it with your mobile device
- Answer any questions you might have

What is the cost of the charger and installation?
Prices vary between charger type and model, as well as installation, fitting fees and any additional work costs. Your installation quote will include the purchase cost of your EV Charger and the cost of a standard installation (see below for details of what is included). If your survey shows that you need any additional work carried out on top of a standard installation your quote will also detail exactly what additional work needs to be done and the cost of this work. Please note that your quote price is still subject to change depending on whether any additional work is required following a site visit by the engineer. See section 2 of the T&Cs for more on how your quote is calculated.
