Zappi 2 smart charger compatibility with OVO Charge Anytime?

Having just moved to OVO for a trial, I really don't want to change either of my two Zappi as my Leafs aren’t compatible. I would love some sort of integration - there must be an amount of Zappi owners who might join OVO with charger compatibility, as the Zappi doesn't work with  cephalopod competitor either atm. It’s not like changing either the charger or car is exactly cheap.

Just a reminder, I don’t work for OVO.

As it so happens, one of my friends recently got the attention of a staff member from Zappi and mentioned to them that Kaluza seemed interested in getting it to work. It’s possible that it might happen at some point. I’d say watch this space.

Just to give a minor update on this, the Zappi 2 integration is now fully supported on Intelligent Octopus Go for off-rate smart charging.

We’ve now moved to Octopus and it’s working seamlessly.

Hope Team Ovo get it working for Charge Anytime customers soon, it makes so much more sense to integrate with the charger than with the EV.

Sorry to raise this issue again, but is there any hope that Zappi chargers will be integrated with Charge Anytime at some point? One of our EVs cannot be connected via the CA app so we are having to charge that one at full rate.

Please see https://www.ovoenergy.com/electric-cars/charge-anytime-cars-and-chargers for details on which models are supported. You MUST be on the latest firmware for this to work - so please update first!

Once you’re on the latest Zappi firmware, grab the Charge Anytime app and set things up - you’ll want to use the CA app to control schedules from there once you’re up and running.

Bit of a tip from the team though. Please disable ALL existing schedules from both Charger and EV before setting up CA. You can do so before or after the firmware update as long as you’re able to clear them out so that it avoids conflicts.
