Ive just gone onto the OVO drive tariff and want the Anytime Plan But I already have a Pod Point charger at home. Will the Anytime work with Podpoint or will I need to change the charger? I have a SMET2 smart meter.

Since 15th July 2025, Ohme chargers are no longer be compatible with Charge Anytime. We’ve recently updated the technology behind Charge Anytime. This is so we can keep making improvements and create new products that reward customers for driving EVs.
It's not been possible to integrate Ohme with this new technology. If you have an Ohme charger you’ll still be able to sign up to Charge Anytime by connecting with an eligible vehicle. We’re constantly looking to open up the eligibility to more EV models so if you don’t see your EV here, keep an eye on our page.

Short answer is that the Podpoint charger won't be compatible with Anytime. You'll need either an Indra or Ohme charger as detailed in the FAQs on this page.

You must have an eligible EV or Smart Charger, we’re constantly looking into ways to add more eligibility for Charge Anytime, so if your technology isn’t currently on the list keep an eye on our page for updates!
