UK government workplace voucher for EV home charger installation.

It’s a workplace voucher isn’t it ? I would imagine that the conditions attached to it preclude home installations.

if I’m wrong, I’d like to know.

It appears that these are only for use in the workplace - would your OVO supplied home count as your workplace ​@Doc5555?

Hi. it includes home office when you're working from home. I am eligible and have already received the voucher.

Does it not tell you on the voucher how it should be redeemed?

EDIT: I’ve found the process; this information may be useful for others too.

You have to find an OZEV-authorised installer and have them claim the grant on your behalf.

If working from home then the chargepoint that you choose MUST be 

•      a chargepoint that is eligible for both residential and commercial use

  If you choose a residential only chargepoint from the list your claim will be declined.

​@Nukecad The voucher is sent via email and is a code valid for 180days. My question is if Ovo accepts the voucher. I have had my survey and quote from Ovo. I have contacted customer service but no response yet.

I’ve heard back internally and I’m sorry to say that OVO don’t accept those vouchers for charger installations - apologies.

I have received quote for a non standard installation with the discount OZEV voucher worth £350 applied. Now waiting for the installation date.
