Hello,

Just had an Indra Pro EV charger fitted today, followed all sets by manufacturer and OVO to set up with charge anytime app.

However, when it comes to linking the charger to Ovo, it says “Cannot link charger with OVO as no available charger found.”

i can see the charger, online in indra app. any ideas about this??

thanks

Hello, just to update. I called Indra who were very very helpful. They seen my charger connected to OVO but couldn’t understand why it didn’t link together. They unlinked accounts and I relinked whilst on the phone with immediate success!

so glad it’s fixed. Currently charging through Ovo CA app with no fuss or issues

thanks!

Download the OVO Charge app from the App Store or Google Play.

Hello @gsulley My knowledge here is very limited and you may already have checked. To me the error message implies charge anytime can’t find the charger address.
Make sure the charger has booted correctly and there are no error conditions.

Double check that you don’t have any network issues.

What often works is power down the charger and network. Wait 1 minute reboot network and when up and running, power up the charger.

Edit: Another possibility I should highlight. Double check that you have typed the MAC address correctly. The characters are small and easily misread!

Hey Taj, thanks for the reply

the charger is connected to the internet as i can see it well on my Indra app, the issue lies when trying to connect indra to Ovo through the ovo charge anytime app. but i’ll try your suggestion to and turn power off, same with network and reboot both, thanks

Hello @gsulley If my memory serves me correctly, to set up the Indra app you will have scanned in the MAC address using the QR code so no likelihood of error whereas setting up the charge anytime app requires typing and from personal experience is easy to get wrong.

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately, no success connecting Indra to charge anytime app. I suspect the issue lies with either Indra or charge anytime accounts as the physical charger is working as it should and connected to the internet etc.

thanks for the contract details. i’ll give them a ring tomorrow

@gsulley

I have an EV but don't use CA but I had a trawl of possible fixes and came up with this thread on the forum from three months ago. It's the bit at the end which is interesting and may be what you need to do.

I hope it works for you. Internet/connectivity issues are really, really frustrating as you generally have no clue what to do next.

Peter
