I have now completed, as per the email, to move from the Ohme set up to OVO charge anytime.
I have two compatible EV’s, both Audi.
I have linked both up to the app okay.
I have charged both cars this weekend, but only one is showing on the savings tab and only one has updated.
I reconnected the EV that the savings weren’t showing by removing the EV then adding it. I then got a different account number?
I am sure that EV will be showing in the savings tab when I charge that one but the other one won’t
How can I be sure both EVs are charging at the 7p??

@Robbo4962 some further information from the team:
I think the reason is that both cars are the same manufacturer so that when you add the second Audi account it replaces the first and is then only connected to one car as a result.
The best way for it to work would be to get both Audis added onto the same Audi account and then link that account to Charge Anytime so that both cars can connect to both cars on one Audi account.
Otherwise it’d mean manually deleting one Audi and then adding the other Audi in the account every time you want to switch the car that you’re charging which can be inconvenient. Or just picking the car that does the most mileage and using Charge Anytime with that car only.
Have you got both Audis linked under the one Audi account?
Sounds like one for the team based on what you’ve said. If you give them a call on 0330 175 9678 tomorrow or ping them an email to chargeanytime@ovo.com , they can dig the logs and make sure things are working as intended for you.
Apologies if this isn’t quite the answer you were after, but it’s one that I feel will give you the best outcome.
I’ve awarded you your EV badge so that other Forum community members can recognise you. Have you managed to speak to the Charge Anytime team yet following @Blastoise186’s advice? let us know how you get on, we’d appreciate the feedback.

I sent an email early Sunday morning but no reply as yet.
Normally the Charge Anytime team is incredibly fast at responding. However, they’ve been swamped by recent events at the moment and are trying to catch up.
Please try to give them a bit more tolerance than normal, they’re doing their best but it’s a small team.
They said to reconnect the other car. But when I do that, the other one is disconnected with a new account number.
i have been paying full price whilst it was ‘disconnected’. Is anyone else having these basic issues? how do two cars stay ‘connected’ at the same time?
I am slowly edging towards leaving OVO. Messing around with a good Ohme system wasn’t a good idea.
Hi @Robbo4962 I’ve heard back from a colleague in Charge Anytime who has advised:
Customers can only have one charge anytime account per ovo energy account
If they have two vehicles of the same brand they need to be in the same vehicle account
so two audis need to be in one audi account
I hope this helps!
Not really. They are in the same energy account but they have different OVO charge anytime account numbers. They change when I reconnect. How do I get them in the same account?
For example, my OVO charge account for the Q5 is 9845**
And Q4 is 6754**
only one updates at a time. So do I need to keep removing one and adding one when I want to charge?
Same APP so therefore same electricity account.
Seems ridiculous. I am paying over the odds and have been for a good week or so now. Very unfair. Probably be another week before they email me back.

@Robbo4962 sorry I couldn’t say whether it would cause issues as don’t own an Audi EV myself. The advice I’ve given you has come from our Charge Anytime team, so we’d recommend giving it a try - hopefully it should work.

I am in the process of looking to move as it feels like OVO are making it up as they go along.
As I customer of a few years it’s a shame but replacing a system like Ohme with a system not being able to cope with two EV’s in the same efficient manner is shocking to be honest.
