My Skoda Enyaq keeps losing the connection to Charge Anytime

My Skoda Enyaq keeps losing the connection to Charge Anytime.  Skoda servers are working and the car is sharing its location in an area of strong wifi next to the Hypervolt charger. How can I make it connect so I can get the cheaper charging?

Hi @jackiecamb , the best overview I think I’ve seen is here - assuming that your smart meter is sending half-hour readings and you are not using the car app settings

You may have already gone through this of course. If you still have problems, try the team ovocharge@ovo.com

I have not contacted your technical team since the last message. Two things have happened. I have had a contact from Skoda UK. Their opening sally was to say that the original offensive comments were translated from the Czeck and this would account for the hostility.  Be that as it may, Skoda Tech services did not offer a solution. The second is that, applying my engineering training, I analysed all the settings and decided that the only setting that no none talks about is the plug disconnect on charge ending. I have changed this setting to “Keep the plug locked at the end of the charging”. Since then I have 3 successful overnight charges. More tests to do before I am confident but...

@pebattrick thanks so much for this helpful update - I really hope you’ve found the fix here, it sounds promising. Is this setting within the Skoda app? It would be really helpful if you could share a screenshot if you get the time - this may well help others in the same situation.

This setting is part of the charge management screen on the Skoda. Easy to find.
