I had a Easee charger fitted as recommended by my electrician last year. I am due to take delivery of my Kia EV shortly. I am also a OVO energy customer.
Bizarrely I seem unable to take advantage of the anytime + tariff as i have neither a compatible charger or car. How can this be the case? Has it now come to the point where you choose the car and charger based on an available electricity tariff?! Com on OVO get Kia on board ASAP.

There are now two ways you can get Charge Anytime:
You must have an eligible EV or Smart Charger, we’re constantly looking into ways to broaden eligibility of this product so if your technology isn’t currently on this list keep an eye on our page for updates!
I tried it a few times post 9am with no luck. But tried again and it was working. I have managed to get connected and will try connecting my car later.
fingers crossed the trial works well! I appreciate that it might not as that is why you do trials!
Hi. I have a Kia Niro, an Easee One charger and the Charge Anytime app. When I have tried connecting the car ready for smart charging, it shows on the Easee app as charging straight away, and not limited by the Charge Anytime app. I wasn’t sure if the Charge Anytime app had registered that the car was connected - until I tried the urgent charge feature, and then it started charging. I don’t have an off peak rate, but if I set the Easee charger to start at its off-peak setting of 10pm, will that then wake up the Charge Anytime app and will it then do its smart charging? Grateful for any advice/information/suggestions. Thank you.
You must ONLY use the Charge Anytime app to set Schedules in this setup - all others MUST be disabled or you’ll run into conflicts - and that includes any Off-Peak modes.

I have been on charge anytime with a pod point charger for over a year. after a few weeks I realised there is no use for your charger app. so I deleted it off my phone and ive never had any issues. Just stick with the Ovo charge anytime app
The information that @Chris78 and @Blastoise186 have shared is really useful. If you just stick to using the Charge Anytime app and delete any other schedules that you have on the charging app as this could cause the two to wrestle over who has priority.
