Hi.

I'm new8 to EVs and have just a charger installed.

As OVO offers a flat rate of 7p per hr for charging, I've added Charge Anytime.

I've gone to do my first charge and am confused.

I want the vehicle charged by 7pm tonight. I've set that in the App. That's 3.25 hrs from now but it's not started charging.

If I hit urgent charge, it says I won't get the credit back so I'm not getting the 7p anytime rate.

It's very co fusing to a newbie getting to grips with everything EV. My immediate.reaction is that the claim of a flat rate is false but I know that can't be the case.

Any help or explanation would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Result! Having spent a couple of hours searching the Internet and digging through the manual, I came across a similar post in the forum.

Simple solution. Unlink charger and then relink. The good old then it off and then on again trick!. And it's charging! ⚡️😀

What’s your setup @H29 ?

The EV and charger need to be compatible to operate correctly. There are also guides to follow to operate, also depending on your setup

The claim of a flat rate (of 7p per kWh is not false.

if you provide more detail along the lines suggested by BPLighthog someone may be able to help you.

Reading the guides is essential for anyone wishing to avail themselves of this service. In addition the Charge Anytime team offer excellent support.

Hi @BobTom @BPLightlog

I've got a hypervolt home 3 pro charger and a skoda enyak.

Both are compatible.

I know this must be user error. :-)

My charger is saying it is linked with Charge Anytime…

My CA app is showing that I want it charged by 10pm buy my charger App is showing that my energy provider doesn't have any charges scheduled.

Any help gratefully received…

Thanks.

How do I get thr two to talk to each other...?

Glad you got things sorted @H29 .

The setup sometimes gets confused so the switch on/off routine is always useful.

There are a few other pointers in this thread
